retrofit op compact
Drop the oplog's traces (tombstoned lines and replaces= entries) to
exactly one bound, rewiring each prev= to its effective value; the render
every verb reads is unchanged.
--frontier <file> a trace drops only when <file> holds the same trace
--unshared <file> a trace drops only when <file> holds no line,
tombstone or replacement of its opid
--all every trace outside sealed ranges drops
A sealed range compacts only when --seal <opid> names its Seal, to the
bound, without resealing. A file holding no trace to drop is not written.
Usage:
retrofit op compact [flags]
Flags:
--all drop every trace outside sealed ranges (the flag is the attestation no open branch holds them)
--frontier string drop a trace only when this file holds the same trace
-h, --help help for compact
--help-all show extended help (vocabulary, semantics, caveats)
--seal strings also compact the sealed range of each named live Seal, to the bound
--unshared string drop a trace only when this file holds no line, tombstone or replacement of its opid
Global Flags:
--as string output mode: text | json (default "text")
-C, --chdir string treat <dir> as the working directory for the entire run
--config string retrofit.toml path (overrides discovery; also accepts $RETROFIT_CONFIG)
-f, --file string oplog file path; selects a registered [[schema]] path (overrides discovery)
--no-consolidate render every advisory occurrence instead of collapsing repeats
-q, --quiet count suppress the advisory tier on stderr; stack (-qq) to drop it whole (errors and results still print)
--schema <name> registered schema <name> (resolves via the chain when omitted)
-v, --verbose reveal info-tier advisories on stderr
